Wow Stone sorry to hear about that, I think they will fix it right but it does suck in the mean time. When they had my car and couldn't program it like they said they could Neil offer me a rental car. That might have been good for you plus if there paying for a rental they will get yours done much sooner. Good luck and try to see the end result/big picture.

That would have been pretty nice to have a rental. It's going to rain tomorrow and I have to find a ride to and from work. I'll see if good ol' dad can lend me a ride. I hope they get it all figured out. I'm sure they will but of course there is that itch in the back of my head thinking they won't. Just an itch though.

Well I just got off the phone with Chris from COBB and no one seems to know what's going on.They can't get a hold of their software engineer Joe (whom by the way fixed this problem the first time). Granted they didn't know that I haven't been driving my car and have been using my bike to get to and from work, (my car is really lean and I don't want to take a chance) but geez!!!! I was told last Sat. that they would give me a call this Tues. and have the problem solved and e-mail me the solution. (I) had to call them on Tues. and Neil was like "Oh yeah let me send Joe an e-mail. This went on until yesterday when (I) call them back and they need all the info. off the A/P about my car. I was told that I would get a call back but that never happened. So (I) call again and Neil again says let me send Joe an e-mail and I'll call you back. This again never happens and I call up there at around 5:00p.m. and Chris tells me that Neil has left for the day. Chris then tells me that he doesn't want to give me a guarantee that they will be able to fix it (because I have an appt. tomorrow to have them tune it) and that I could drop off my car and they would let me know when it is fixed. I know I'm just ranting but it pisses me off. I guess I am one of those cases where with this product nothing is working right. Sucks for me! I just want what I paid for and that is to have something that works right and my car tuned. Is that too much to ask?

If it makes you feel better, they still haven't called me back after my visit. This was July 1st.

This really stinks to hear guys as they've been real good about customer service. I hope they pull through and get you guys all taken care of.

I'll have to admit, they aren't the greatest when it comes to making callbacks. But I've never been the type of person that sits around and waits for someone to call me when they say they will. Neil has done that to me several times too and I just call him back and not wait. Especially when it's something related to my baby.

I suggest just giving them a call if you haven't heard from them and you were expecting to. I know it's probably not the best customer service but it's just a phone call.

Regarding your software issue, I had an issue as well. They never called me back when the bug was fixed, I had to make a phone call to find that out, but when I did, I brought the car up to them and got the car tuned and I'm happy with the results.

Neil and Chris are great guys who know about cars, they might need a little help with callbacks though.

I was part of the FLi cobb beta testing. I must say the COBB does work. This should compete nicely with Uprev.

Okay I just got back from COBB which I had to leave my car there. They were told by their software guy Joe to try and uninstall the tuner and try another one. They did this and the brand new tuner says that my car is an AWD Sedan!????? What they are going to do now is take out my ECU and send it to this guy Joe so he can see what's up. Chris told me that my problem is the biggest they have faced. I'm a nice guy and wouldn't cause a scene but I am very very upset with the way things are going. Chris insured me that everything will be taken care of and that he was sorry. So I am left without a car again. I want my baby back! I was told by Neil that he will call me on Tues. We will see if that happens. I'll just call him on Tues. To be continued......

Wow Stone that sucks take a deep breath and try to calm down you are kinda stuck now so you kinda have to be patent and have a little more faith I know they will get it figured out. The problem is we are beta testing this on our cars and having to pay for it. Since they have to make it up as they go it's not perfect and it does take time but it's hard when it's your car and your like I paid 700 bucks for this and it should work right the first time. I can see both sides but I think they need to give you some money back or rent you a car or something for all your trouble. Good luck and remember sometimes we are all rats stuck in a cage. Kirk
