hmm, now that i think about it, i vaguely remember Cobb telling me that they didn't use the gaskets or that the old ones were no good...something along those lines. so i believe it's running right now with no gaskets between the y-pipe and the cats. could that potentially be the culprit?

Berks should have come w/ new gaskets....i mean there's only a few possibilities in this situation.

unfortunately they don't provide gaskets so you have to buy your own

+1...my berks did not come with new gaskets. when cobb installed the cats, they told me that my OEM ones were shot and that they would just put the cats on without the gaskets. does the absence of the gasket make a difference???

well without the gaskets its very likely that you have a huge exhaust leak. and being so close to the motor its going to be a lot more noisy of a leak so that might be the problem

well, again, i'm not 100% sure if they reused the stock gaskets or if they ditched them. would it be worth it either way to just go pick up another set from a Nissan dealer just to try??? at this point i will try just about anything, though i still think that the berks are defective.

Haha yea man, the Berks had to come back off for reals this time. My heart cried for joy when I heard the nice noise-free roar of my baby taking off from Jake's LOL

haha Jake...it honestly didn't bother me bro. the coat and seal on my baby is so strong you would have to use something a little more potent than beer to make me upset lol it's all good!

on to the next phase

eh, i don't think that the cats are fitting in with everything right now. i still can't say for sure where the problem truly was, so i don't want to drop any more coin on something that might produce the same horrible result.

for my next mod, i'm thinking something more interior...
