I have to throw in my 2 cents...

Ive had the BERKS on now for 1 week. Needless to say - Im taking them off next wk. the Kinetix are quite a bit less "annoying". These will be going to someone who doesnt DD his ride... These HFC's are no bueno for the Daily Driver. Just thought Id share..

yea, i have been thinking about the crawfords ever since i realized that the berks were no bueno. i am still mildly paranoid about getting some cats since i can't say for sure that the problem was the berks, but it seems pretty clear now that they were the culprit. the whole thing has just left a bad taste in my mouth and i don't want to waste any more money haha.

that being said, if anyone ever has a set of crawfords that they no longer want, keep me in mind

i know other people as well who have had zero problems with them, but as everyone on this thread can confirm (from hearing it in person) my particular Berk cats were no good...there's no way around it.

i did, but Berk insisted that the noise was simply rasp and that it wasn't their problem. the noise was anything but rasp, yet i have no way of proving it. therefore, i'm SOL.

i'd send the parts back and cancel the charges. unfortunately some vendors don't take you seriously until it affects their cash flow.

Similar situation... I had a bar in san diego charge me $100 for some shots that I never had... I called them over 6 times to get the charges off... they said they would but never did. After waiting over a month, I went ahead and called my credit card comp and disputed the charge and it all worked out just fine.

If I remember right, one of the options on "why i am disputing the charge?" was "product/service received defective." Something to consider.
