Hehehehehehe yeah craigslist. I was surprised no one bought it since it was on there for quite a while. Installing it today. I wish I can do a before and after dyno for this. But I'm more interested in how it would pair up with my 1/2 MD and intake. I know I'm missin the cats =[

Good find for sure. Dom on this thread was looking out for me and forwarded that post, didnt search the right titles on CL and overlooked it. If you or anyone else runs across a post let me know! thanks and keep us posted on what ya think. I saw you went with a 1/2'' spacer, I was thinking of a 5/16''. I guess this is personal preference but do you like the 1/2? I hear it is more for to end performance/response

I have a 1/2" as well and love it.. You get the performance of the 5/16" plus a little more air to the front cylinders and a deeper growl from intake..

lol omg i just had my HR Y Pipe installed, ok lemme tell u. If u don't have one, buy one. If you can't buy one, steal one. get it lol. it's a very good additive if you have a stock exhaust setup. I'm not sure if it made any difference in power, i did feel a smoother top but it sure did make the thing louder. Overall, it was a well spent 40 bux. Concerning the 1/2 MD spacer, it did make a difference in power, especially after 4.5K RPM, the car feels like a different thing beyond that point, its hard to describe lol. I'm not sure how it would compare to the 5/16 because i never had it, so..... Oh btw, if u are planning to switch out any exhaust components, i suggest you buy new bolts just incase lol. The oem bolts were very hard to turn, and if u turn it too hard, you will strip the thread like i did lol.

Man, I hate you! hahah Glad to hear you like the HR pipe. How did you fix the stripped thread? Did you have to take it somewhere? Did you use the same gaskets from the old Y Pipe? Enjoy

Penetrating oil + antisieze compound will help w/ those rusty bolts.

There's nothing worse than rounding off nuts, cross threading, or stripping bolts.

I started off with soaking those fkers in WD40 for 30mins, but they didnt budge so i used some airtools, that failed also lol. so i just torched them lol. i got new bolts lol, walked across the street from where i live to a muffler shop and asked if they had some laying around, fortunately for me, they did. I used the oem gaskets, they were fine.

Yea, PB Blaster is the ish. If that doesn't get it, add a little bit of heat... I've never had a bolt I couldn't break free with that combo.

I'm right there w/ you.. biggest gain I noticed in the seat was my Berks.. Although the exhaust did produce a little more torque.
