BeerViper has upgraded the VQ
A VQ40DE that is! For those of you that didn't already know, Mrs. BeerViper is currently 7.5 months pregnant and until today, Mrs. BeerViper's daily driver was a 2001 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder GT. Besides my G we also have a 1999 Toyota 4-runner SUV that although is still in great shape at 130k miles, just wasn't the perfect car to go back to as a daily driver...
Now Mrs. BeerViper is pretty picky when it comes a replacement car that will be more kid-friendly than the Eclipse. Fortunately [for me] she wants nothing to do with a minivan
. She wants a mid-size truck based SUV, she doesn't like the look of crossovers (so no FX or EX) other than the GMC Acadia. So it really came down to the Acadia, another 4-runner, or the Pathfinder ... and I hope you already know which one she chose 
This thing is fawking sweet! (and before you comment on the Welcome Home banner, no it's not for the Pathfinder
Mrs. BeerViper spent 7 long weeks in the hospital on bed rest and finally got to come home just before Christmas and we just haven't taken it down yet
