Man you really wanna be careful w/ those brush coin operated car washes.. I learned the hard way w/ a dark color, you're going to scratch up your clear coat. You'll end up like me and have to pay stephen for a nice buff and polish (which I highly recommend by the way) to get your clearcoat as smooth as the first day off the lot..

I'd just take the little bit of extra time and get a pack of microfiber towels, (sams or costco has them like 30 for 10 bucks) and hand wash and dry it..

Our babies are worth it..

She looks great by the way..

^ +1 to what T said about being careful with the brush washes. You WILL scratch up your paint, end of story.

It was nice seein your ride tonight Blake - the exhaust sounds so sick.

I'd stay away from those coin brush washes too, or at least just use the high powered nozzles to wash it. Some people take their trucks there after going mudding to wash them, then all that mud and dirt gets in the brush and when you use it after them, all that dirt effs up your paint.

Thanks for the kind words guys!!

Yea I usually never use the foaming brush. Typically just the gun with the soap spray. I used the brush today but I checked it for anykind of debris. It's a realllllly soft brush.

But I hear ya on messin up the clearcoat. I will just stick to the spray gun.

One grain of sand can do a lot.... but yea, the soap spray gun... all good. Used to do that a lot with my G. I would even take the glove thing I used to wash my car with me just so I could give some of those tough spots a little more elbow grease...
