i would be ticked if they washed my car. i am always very specific about them NOT washing my car on the off chance that i have to go to Sewell. i've spent too many hours on my ride to have them go and put their nastiness on it.
Yeah, I wasn't pleased. I was pretty adamant that I did not want it washed, but I am used to them ignoring what I say/ask. My car has only been washed by hand, and the last thing I wanted was those monkeys washing it. The service adviser came up when I was paying and was like I caught them right in the middle of it, so I just had them dry it off. I told him the reason I didn't want them washing it because of the way they dry it and what they use to clean the wheels. I don't think he got it.... They also made some attempt to clean the wheels, and I have no idea what they put on them. Needless to say, I went home and washed it myself, and everything looks ok.

I like the people at Sewell, but I think I am done going there. I am about 99% sure last time I got my oil changed they ran my car into something and put a big ding in my bumper. It is a perfect square, and it looks like what would happen if someone did not know how to drive a manual and stalled it out and slammed it into something. Unfortunately, I went out of town (not in my car) and did not notice it for a week or so, and there was not much I could do at that point. As I went back through where it could have happened, the dealership was about it. I am really kicking myself for not bringing it up, but by the time I figured it out it was really too late.

I had R1forever paint my front light housing OB to match my car, along with my front grill

Finally got my small ding out of my side panel. All thanks to R1forever and he did an excellent job.

Pics soon!

Sure. I can paint anything. If the fiberglass is porous it will need to be primed first otherwise it will just soak up the paint and look like crap

I was hoping to make the Garland meet tonight, so I did my semi-annual Meguiars SwirlX job, all the while cursing and scolding myself and questioning why I bought a black car since every damn swirl mark and scratch shows.

Then once I was done and saw my car shining again, I remembered why my last 4 cars have all been black.

Yes my friend.. You had the sickest IP in the history of IPs.. And I'm not just saying that.. I too shed a tear at the site of your old pics.. First modded G I ever saw.. What got me started.. I STILL remember hearing you tear up FM 544 when I was washing my ride that one time.. When you were at FULL STRENGTH, I'll NEVER forget that sound.. And just think, I have all your exhaust parts now.. Funny how things work out. Now all I need is the SC, and maybe.. Just maybe, I'll be sounding like that one day..
