Man a killer setup would be a LS iron block with plenty of boost. You can easily hit any number you wish to on the DYNO and not have to worry about running a rod through the block or what not. I am wishful thinking but hoping to see many LS swaps since I would love to venture into it once all the kinks are worked out and plenty of competition to drive prices down. The cost of working on a LS motor is much lower than VQ due to the popularity and availability of parts. Also the resale factor since everyone can use a LS motor in many cars from Miata, to trucks and all the way to Infiniti and Honda's

 

^^^ Agreed. The LM7 5.3L is the ****. Those motors can take alot of abuse compared to the comparable LS4. Iron FTW
