deemo are those the same hfc's you bought from me? Cause they do throw codes. You need to make non foulers.

^yes they are, I didn't know that.. the light just now came on though. I got those from you like 4-5 months ago..

Deemo, there is a tint machine but its not hooked up to their computers. Its up to them to check it correctly. The problem is if your car throws a code its in your computer and you will have to clear the code. After the code is cleared your car has to drive for a certain amount of miles for the code to be completely cleared

^yes he did say drive 80 miles and if the code doesn't come back on then come back and see him. Thanks stephen for clearing things up.

the tint guys at my work use a roland cutter for the tint its nice.

To add to what Stephen said, the inspection process involves the tech plugging your car into the inspection computer, so you can't just ignore the code. The machine will know. Tint is a "manual" process as Stephen mentioned, so they can simply "ignore" that part.

And HFC's aren't really always certified to clean up the exhaust enough to give the O2 sensor the idea that a cat is doing its job. Now it is possible that the O2 sensors are bad, but i don't know enough of the history of your car to wager an opinion there.

I have berks, and don't have problems throwing codes..

@Eatsleepdrum - That purple looks like mine in the engine bay..

^okay well should i get the non foulers then? or how would i know if the 02 sensor itself is bad?

I don't have an engine cover, it's straight on my plenum.. Yeah.. Purple is my Engine accent color.. Battery covers are that color as well..

well there might be two of us soon haha... no battery cover. just repaint the silver and paint the blue part of GTSpec strut same color
