[DFW] What have you done to your G Today?
he cleared the code for me but as stephen just said, the car has to be driven for a certain amount of miles till its fully cleared.. the guy told me 80.
Chris, whats the chance you're free tomorrow? I'll be up there at that Discount Tire. At least i hope so.. some how my tires got lost and they shipped out another pair.

Eh, I would say 80 miles for a code to clear itself. Never heard of a cleared code not truly being cleared. Doesn't totally make sense. If your code is cleared, go get it inspected in case there truly is an issue and it sneaks back up
you cant because once you clear codes is clears the readiness monitors as well. You require 60-80 miles for all of those codes to recalculate. trust me...I cleared mine before I went and got inspected and drove around for 30-40 miles and came back and only 3 had registered and the other 3 were still trying to recalibrate before the machine would even start to check.
I can do it in the evenings....however I Will be out tomorrow night and most likely thursday. Maybe Friday if not Sunday morning again.
Make sure you have all the tools you need chris. The beemers require some big torx and special tools to pull some of the suspension off if i remember correctly. I dont recall if the rear lips are anything different
I Wasnt sure either and was trying to find out from you when I called earlier along with talking to Jake but couldnt get ahold of either at the time
Just take a look and feel everything out before you get started so you dont get stuck in the middle of a job. During the weekend its tuff to find special tools. German cars require s big 18 point tool to pull some of the stuff off just cant remember which parts and oh of course they have bolts instead of lugs
Damn its hot, just finished taking out my old passenger seat. The ****ing bolt was in there torqued at an angle. When I finally got the screw out, the threads were pulled in one direction.
