someone explain to me why the pivot ball I ordered (for an 04-06 coupe):
http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/image.php?II=2318

looks different than the one that came out of my car.

The one that came out of my car looks like an 03.
http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/image.php?II=3903

WTF????!!!!

hate to tell you but there are 2 models in 04...you have the 03-04 and 04.5 which was entry into 05. Its based on your build date and vin of your car....probably need to call and validate your year....thats why I ordered all the wrong transmissions parts at first

Look at your production date in the door jamb. Usually anything august and up is the next year. so your production date mayb 08/03 it will be considered an 04 but still with 03 parts

Emad....u still running tricks...seems like your car is running tricks on you.

https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetr...-clutch-3.html

I was over at jakes house and had a chance to really violate your car and found out she was made in 07/2003. The pivot ball you have is probably for the 03 year which if I am not mistaken is longer. Research a little since I do not have time but you might need to switch out shift fork if you change to small ballz (emad n ballz ). Read up on my350z and g35driver about people switching out to the shorter newer chromoly pivot ball.
