Yeah man.. your alternate color was selected FOR you by your lugnuts.. you have no choice man.. that blue is GORGEOUS.. If you got R1Forever80 to color match that for your plenum.. OMG.. DUDE!!!! And then leave the strut polished.. We could start a trend..

I'm getting my polished parts from SxExCx (Sean) here on the forums.. You send him payment of the part +100 bucks, and he gets the part polished (takes 2-3 days if he doesn't have one sitting there) and then he ships it to you.. Once he receives your unpolished part in return, he refunds you the other 100 bucks..

I know R1 could paint your stuff, (he did mine).. You'd just be down from your car till it dried and all that. He's also out of town every Mon-Wed on his full time job, and works on the weekends at his shop in Ovilla.. You'd have to take your car there.. It's only a 45 min drive south from Plano. It's 2 exists south of Desoto (where I grew up) so it wasn't that bad of a drive for me. You exit Ovilla Road, and just keep going West and it's not hard to find at all.

After sticker removal and shot head on...

It's the Polk Audio 1100.5, 5 channel amp.. I'm evnetually going to go to a custom trunk (made by Dick Wong and Kumlah at Kustomz Unlimited) and that amp is gonna be my center piece. Sunken into the floor.

I'm thinkin about doing something like this.. But more custom.. I definitely like the windowed look..

Are you guys using the amp for the front and rear deck? If you are, are you using the stock speakers?

i'm probably going to delete my rear 6x9 deck speakers in the near future to allow more of the bass to come in through the two holes. i'll run the amp to the front components (along with the sub) leaving me with two free channels for whenever i decide to replace the rear panel speakers.

I didn't have the bose system to start with, so I don't have the 6x9s in the rear, just the 6.5s behind the door... I'm running the front 6.5s and rear 6.5s to the amp.. I've already replaced my front speakers w/ Polk Audio DB 6501s and plan to replace the rear 6.5s w/ Polk Audio DB 651s shortly.

The power to the rear 6.5s is turned down severely so that I don't blow them. Poor things can hardly handle any juice at all.

Ah ok, I was going to see if the bose speakers were worth keeping in the mean time. The amp is going to cost me at least 600 and upgrading all the speakers and then an sub is going to set me back about 2g... oh and damn I need a new HU.... gah.
