All I saw was the citation. Are you typed in either one of those? I've got an sic in the 500s. Been flying an ultra tho. Car looks good too.

Ok that answers that question. The plane with the tail number n550jt is a Cessna citation bravo.

ah yes, idk anything about planes, i just have access to the addison airport.

VQ35DE with 60k...what do you guys think? Guy says he'll cut me a deal..right now i'm looking at being right under 200k on my block by the end of the year which is why i'm taking this into consideration. Only thing that scares me is that he mentioned it's been sitting a while.

What's wrong with 200k on your current motor? As long as you've been doing the routine maintenance, that motor should be more than fine. There is another G owner in the DFW that doesn't post anymore than is in the 300k+ range without problems.

Mine's starting to consume oil a little more and more at a time...would hate to push it too far past 200k but I understand what your saying

Rings are certainly a problem with these motors. You'd want to upgrade the rings in the used motor which involves quite a bit. Wouldn't want to waste the time just slapping in a used motor without a little bit of a rebuild.
