local asian guy here.. he already fixed some of the issues... he will have a nice car on his hands once he gets everything up and running.

in the meantime, i'm so much happier with a reliable quick car, on which the modding has already started. fwd sucks, but other than that, i like the new ride much better. no headaches.

I know how much you loved your previous Mazda... but surprised you didn't go Subaru considering the area and the annoyance of FWD

mostly price was a deterrence. STi's are NOT losing their value, one with decent mileage now still retails around 30k, 2-3 years old. It was definetly on the top of the list, in fact, i was convinced I was going to pull the trigger on this white one i found, but i really had to sit back and think about it financially. I could afford it, but then kasey would not be getting a car in the next 4 years. And she needs one soon, so I went a conventional route, but still fun as hell..

sigh, marriage sacrifices. haha! but i'm completely happy.

yeah this thing handles way better as well. plus with the addition of the intake, turbo pipe, and a simple map flash from COBB, it opens up quite nice. and now with springs and RSB coming in, the handling should be nice. The motor mounts and passenger side MM, when replaced with aftermarket solid mounts, almost eliminate wheel hop and tq steer, so that should be less of an issue.

But damn i love tq

yeah i got:

Corksport SRI
Corksport Turbo inlet pipe
COBB Accessport
Corksport RMM inserts
Springs got shipped today
Rear Sway bar got shipped today

within the first 4 weeks of having the car hahaha. making comfy $ obviously, and it helps that the payment is smaller than the G, and my altima is paid off. so that's an extra $$ leftover now

engine bay shot (nothing special)... eventually i wanna go FMIC.
