got a promising email from weapon r, a R&D guy asking me details about the dyno session.

additionally I found some local guys with parts who were willing to help.

platelock has a Takeda intake I can use, and w0rthy has the kinetix velocity manifold.

awesome news, AFE and Weapon-R have agreed to ship me an intake for testing today!

not sure which one they will be sending. weapon-r had some additional terms which I have no problem with accommodating for the testing.

I will be reseting the ECU by disconnecting the battery, not just clearing fuel settings.
I will give the intake a small learning period before the runs
I will give the engine a small cooldown period before the runs

Wow bro, that's great.. This is gonna be pretty dope. We need to try and make sure that things like engine coolant temp (ect), and intake air temp (iat) are as close to the same as possible for every run. For example, if we want to do 3 pulls per product, start the engine after a new part has been installed and let the ect raise to 190 degrees, and try to keep fans on the engine bay keeping iat at say 90 degrees. Hopefully we can do this on an evening that's nice and cool. There is no a.c in this shop. If we can do that for every product, we can get pretty decently accurate data.

I emailed motordyne to see if there was something we could work out for testing with the pipes but received no reply.

however, I was able to find someone local (TrixR4kidz) who was willing to let me use the ART pipes for my testing.

so to confirm, this test will be done with ART pipes installed.

Also called the dyno shop today and confirmed everything. This will probably be done on the 23rd of October at 2 or 3 pm

just out of curiosity are you going to put all the info in bright colors on the first page or is it going to be a search and destroy mission

I'd love to have it stickied. but I don't have the power to do that. After the testing, I'll create a new clean thread with the full review and plots.
