I'm not a fan of Mitsubishi at all. I have seen way too many Eclipses fall apart. My parents also used to have a Mitsubishi Montero and it was the biggest piece of junk ever.

I refuse to let someone who is related to me by blood drive a Mustang. Period.

Thanks for the input guys - pretty much what I was expecting to hear. If anyone sees a good deal on CL please make sure to let me know. And if any of you tech guys wouldn't mind lending some input on specific cars once they are chosen, I would greatly appreciate it (or rather, my father and bro/sis would appreciate it haha).

How about a good american highschool 2007 Ford Taurus with 20k miles? It was my brothers senior year's car

Hmm this really depends. Like most people said Honda civic even kia's these days are reliable.


But I recommend getting a small car for insurance purpose. You don't want to pay like 5k/6 months for insurance. +P.
