wait wait wait... I won't get into the ATI vs nvidia debate, but I will definitely say that Intel is NOT a superior chip to AMD... just no way. Volume does not mean superior...

Put that Fanboy shirt back on!!! lol

Great reference btw... hahahahaha I cracked up when I read that.

I'll wear it.. I'm an Nvidia fan since the Voodoo cards.. Never went to ATI. They always just seemed to be following to me.

I was a huge fan of Nvidia for the detonator driver updates.. They were awesome at increasing the performance of those cards w/ software and kept me from having to upgrade for a long time..

are you kidding, ATI is known for unlocking card potential through drivers.

Nvidia just tries to fix everything they broke in an earlier release.

I am a huge AMD fanboy and will always buy AMD but I can tell you that Intel's chip versus AMD's chip there is a difference. Intels chips are better then AMD on the high end side. My dad is a huge flight sim guy and with those games the amount of proccesing power that is required is absolutely ridiculous. He use to run AMD but they just weren't cutting it.

He went up to one of the higher end Intel chips and will never go back.

It's hard to compete with intel since they are so ingrained in the PC market but AMD sure woke up the beast when they released their K7 chips. intel said WTF and threw a boatload of money into R&D and came out with the CORE chips which were pretty damn good. AMD has been trying to play catch up ever since.

I can admit that. But I still love AMD, always rooting for the underdog. Their competition will keep prices low which is good.

3dfx voodoo was great, first time SLI haha I remember overclocking a pair of celerons with 2 of those bad boys going in SLI. Was running Quake 2 at like 1024x768 at over 100 fps lol those were the days.

I have the Phenom II X4 965 + Radeon HD 4870 + 890FX Chipset. All AMD and I love it. I have never had a issue with my AMD products.
