Has anybody driven to Choctaw in Durant OK from Dallas?
Is the whole route lowered car friendly?

I wouldn't say it is smooth, but definitely doable in a lowered car. I make the drive from DFW to Arkansas going that way about 5-6 times a year, and never had any issues. A lot of it is or has been under construction, so it is getting better.

There a lot of cops out on that drive (in TX Melissa and Howe are the worst), but not too bad once you hit OK (there are around Durant, and they are really bad once you get close to Atoka).

Some construction patches with only 1 lane open.
Dallas to Durant - passed by 8 cop cars.
Durant to Dallas - passed by 4 cop cars.

No, I did a bit of blackjack, but cant stand all the cigarette smoke, so didnt gamble much. I was out there on a company outing so ate and drank a lot though!
