.....this is what you get for going mod crazy. you get bored of it, and then try to sell the car, only to do it with another car.
start using your cars for fun driving, and not showing off your "mod list" and maybe you would like to keep it.

I haven't put mine up for sale yet, but I went from a 550hp Evo 8 to the G and well... there's no comparison. I was going to do some power adders, but it would cost too much $$ to get it to where it would be reliable. I don't really have a lead foot, but there's nothing better than having on tap the ability to spank a Z06 every now and then. I have definitely learned a lot about these cars and for the most part I'm happy. I probably should've bought a newer one, but I just had to have the carribbean blue due to not seeing very many of them around.
Last item on my list is getting the interior redone, then the project will be finished and up for sale. One thing I can say is that building up the G has been fun and sometimes very frustrating. Working on cars is my hobby and it keeps me out of trouble, I definitely like driving it around
and getting the reactions that it does.

My G was the car I've owned the longest out of all of them (9 or so). I definitely drove it for fun, took it to the track etc. I did all my modifications to give me the ride and drive I wanted, not to impress anyone with a mod list. I fact, other than the rims it looked stock. I got it set up just how I wanted, then I didn't make a single change for the last 2 and a half years or so that I owned it.
Eventually though, I wanted to move on to bigger, better and faster things. I started out with a bus pass (college), then an old beat up high mileage ford explorer, and I'm working my way up, lol.
I have to say though, part of the fun for me is the modding process itself! So I totally understand how some folks will want to sell a car and move on to something else once they are all done with their modding. Like an artist who draws a painting, once he is happy with it, he starts with a fresh canvas and draws another one. Different viewpoints of what a car is and represents. As for me, I think I will stop once I get to the car that satisfies my requirements of performance, handling, looks and comfort. That is a difficult combination though... so it may take a while

I wish I would've kept the G, I would have if it wasn't for teh idiot who tried to commit suicide on the slow lane swerving to the fast last.... In the end, I saved his life and my car got fixed but wasn't the same anymore.... so I had to....

Ill never understand the whole "keep my car forever"....
Who wants some 25+ yr old outdated car when there are always better performing/looking/technologically advanced cars to be bought. I never regret selling any of my past vehicles. Every vehicle Ive ever bought has been an upgrade from the previous one. Not sure why people want to keep a car for more than 5-10 years.
Styling and technology has taken off in the past 5 years, why keep an outdated car? Ive loved every vehicle and mod Ive ever done to them, but f*ck that noise. Im gonna get something newer every few years.
