Sorry to butt in but I'm working on an audio solution right now and the NIS-2 looks like a nice plug and play solution. The signal could still benefit from running it to a high quality line driver (i.e. Audio Control Matrix or Overdrive) yes?

Oh yeah I forgot about the Phoenix Gold line driver I had sitting in my closet. yeah that should help boost voltage.

Thanks Moog. I've been out of the car audio thing for awhile so I'm coming up the curve again. When I sold my Jeep I practically gave away some really good equipment (Eclipse, JL Audio) to a buddy thinking my $35K car with "premium" sound would be all I needed. That would be true if the Bose had any highs, midrange or bass. Sadly, here I am planning to rip up my car! I dig the tunes so what's a guy to do?

A couple things that I take for granted are things such as line drivers, using a common ground and running signal lines as far away from power wires as possible. I even wrapped my 0ga in shielding but that's probably overkill. The shop that I worked in a long time ago insisted on doing installs like this, so that's what I always do with my stuff. I also did a optima yellow top and a stinger 3 farad cap. All these things add up.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS. Sept 2nd, there are two events going on that will both meet up at the same place. The National FX club will be meeting for a full weekend of FUN. One of their adventures will bring them to the Texas Motorplex on Friday, Sept 2nd. I will be going directly to the drag strip to run with them but can not make the whole weekend. If anyone want to join either event (in its entirety or in part), sign up in the appropriate threads that are STICKIED.
