DFW Dyno Shop

Can any of you recommend a place to have my car dyno'ed. I am about to buy a Stillen exhaust and would like to get a before and after dyno. I have never dyno'ed my car but I figured it would be fun to see what happens. Do most places track A/F ratio when they dyno a car?

I ran a search and saw several suggestions with regards to tuning but didn't see any suggestions for dynos only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I know Velocity Performance (now Matchless Performance) has a dyno in their shop. They are located in Carrollton and have done a lot of work on G's and Z's...

You also have some others like Forced Induction Systems (FIS) Alamo I think can help you. I'm pretty positive Jotech has a dyno as well. I just go to Matchless because they did the tuning, are close, and I know the guys up there. Most places will do A/F readouts. I doubt it will matter with your cart not being HEAVILY modified so things shouldn't change much in terms of A/F.

Excellent. Thanks for the responses. I will give Matchless Performance a call.

I wasn't sure how my mods would affect A/F so its good to hear that its probably no big deal.

hyperlite & BeerViper,

Thanks for the help. I had my car dyno'ed at Matchless last Saturday and they were great (i.e. answered all my "noob" type questions). Exactly what I was looking for.

Jamey.

Jason helped me out up front and answered all of my questions (along with Brad) but Cameron did the actual dyno. I posted the results here, check it out:

I am going back this Saturday for my "after Stillen catback" dyno.

Hey Jamey, good to hear that Matchless treated you well.

You should definitely come out to the next meet we have so we can check it out. Last Friday at Posado's Josh showed up with his Sedan with the BBK. We'd love to have more people at our meets!

Excellent, I will take you up on your offer. I will check the forum for the next meet/get together. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, I just didn't want you guys to be intimidated by my sedan .

Thanks again.

Well it looks like the Don Davis Car Show will be our next meet and it will be a doosey! Keep checking that thread for more info as we get close to April 8th!

And don't worry ... we'll still be intimidated by the Sedan

Ah ha! There are other modded sedans in DFW. I am going to Matchless Performance, 3221 Skylane Drive Carrollton. I am going to do the dyno at 10 am.

Shoot me a PM.
