i have ran a 14.18 here in florida at bradenton motor sports park never been to cali...

 

'04 MT, my best run was 14.675 seconds. All stock except for K&N drop in filter.

 

so i guess 14.8 is just right for a AT coupe.

 

^u have to also factor in the weather, dust and the wind.

 

it was hot at night,around 75. some wind, VERY DUSTY my car looks like it hasent been washed for a year.

 

you jst killed my hopes for the track

 

Ya my best one at that track was 14.9 when i had only 2k miles on the car with crappy 2.3 60 times.

 

I think Nissan overrates these motors big time...

 

If an m3 brakes into 13s on that track the driver would be very happy. Why do u think nissan overrates our motors?

 

I think most people just cant launch a car with 18's or 19's well enough. I cut a 14.1 @ 99 in my 03 coupe with just aa K&N and Z Tube.... then i got a borla and test pipes and plenum spacer and ran.... a 14.1 @99... and whats even better is that I got 19's on the car and ran a 14.1 I'm just doomed to be stuck in the 14s

Here is a vid of me racing a stock 350z with a exaust. I think injen. he runs a 14.7. this is a slow track thats why no one brags about there time there. you can run up to 1 second slower at lacr. but it is still a great track to get a decent amount of runs in.
