your number dont add up... with under a 1/4 tank you were 325X (lets call it 3250)... when you weighed at 3070 it was half tank (which we'll call at least 60 lbs) so would be closer to 3010 with 1/4 tank... this is with you in it... even if you only weigh 150 lbs, these number dont add up... if you weight 170 (an avg weight), your car would be 2840.... that is 400 lbs less than stock
Perhaps you should read my post again................clearly states W/O me in it. Actually it was a little heavier when I ran my 13.02 because I had the stock battery in and hadn't taken out the the plastic assembly (sub/cubby holes/etc) out yet. It's all gone now.

coupes are heavy and I'm heavier since I've retired from the military (no mando exercise anymore).

Are you going to fontana solo if no else wants to go? I might try to better my times in a couple of weeks. (hopefully)

oh - thought it said w/... my mistake... still a lot of weight loss, congrats... for a dedicated track car it's probably worth gutting... I couldn't handle it for a primarily street car though.

you & me both bro... I could stand to lose 25-35 lbs (me, not my car)

not sure about Fontana yet... weather is up in the air (no pun intended)... its been raining a lot here and forecast calls for more towards the end of week... I have a friend with a Vette that goes every now & then, but he's teaching that day - so if no one else from here goes, I probably wont... we'll see...

Did you ever race at Famoso when you were out here? I've been wanting to go there - a couple of us are talking about it in the regional section...

If you better your times much more you'll be in the 12s

Yeah, been a lot of changes over the winter. Stoptech's, tc kline DA koni's w/custom springs, more weight loss, rpf1's w/ 275 star specs all the way around, bunch of other suspension stuff, etc. Its been YEARS since I have done an HPDE, but hopefully by the end of the year or next season the goal is to run it in Time Attack. I'd like to keep it within the rules for enthusiast class, but I won't be competitive really. The other crappy part is RTA has pretty much dropped the ball on east coast events. We'll have to see. Still need to get some safety related items, etc though. I probably won't make it down to watch at Cecil on opening day. You and AJ going?

I forgot to bring mine back last weekend (I have MT steets on 16in mustang wheels)

Well you know if I was there I would roll up there at the crack of dawn with you.

I never made it to Famoso didn't have the time. I heard it's faster than fontana you better get there before it gets hot.

I'm planning on trying the new ART pipes at the track. I'm going to do a couple of runs with my test pipes then switch them out.

I might switch them out myself (depending on weather) or if a local exhaust shop can do it for me then return to the track the same day for some runs.

EDIT: I found a shop 4 miles from the track hopefully they can do it.

getting the car on a rack definitely makes it easier... the header side (top) is a pita - otherwise, its pretty quick and easy (and could probably do it at the track)...

having a shop nearby helps - I look forward to your results... if I get 'em, I'll try to do before and after dyno (if Shawn's lift is available)... since I will be there anyway getting re-tuned.

The added tq should help since I launch between 1500-1800 rpms. We shall see in a couple of weeks. I'm waiting to see if a non polished version will be made.

this list should be categorized by DA with track location verified...

I've never understood internet forums comparing 1/4 mile times and dyno numbers... it simply does not represent different cars and drivers abilities.

Same (or similar) track comparisons make sense... 40' DA is never going to run the same ET as 3000' DA

That was actually NEGATIVE 40ft if you read it again.
