G35 Sedan 13.6@102 - Bolt Ons *Video*

I went back to the track tonight with some new mods. Since the 14.1@99 i have added HFCs, UR Pulley, DC Headers, and a UTEC. I ran on a set of BFG Comp TA Drag Radials (245/40/18) mounted on a set of coupe 18" wheels and was able to pull some 1.9 60's Woohoo Tonight was my first time breaking into the Sub 2 second 60' range. Track was prepped very well and the car was running great. These tires hooked well but I think some ET streets will hook better: I was able to break these loose if I pushed it any harder than what it took to hit the 1.9's. With a thicker sidewall i will shoot for some 1.8's. This stock clutch is taking a beating very well: 50+K miles, 20+ drag strip passes, a track day at TGPR, and still working well... not bad.

Here is a Video of one of the passes (this one was a 13.7@102, the tires hooked better than expected on this pass... Ran 13.6@102 later that night with a 1.9 60'):

Very cool! Your car is flying down the track, it might be the fastest NA Sedan?

Way to represent the sedans!!

I think you have to run against Trey, who are also in the mid 13s league with his Sedan

great times!, looks like u were shifting before 7000 rpm even though u rev limiter is raised to 7100. Just yesterday i found 6600 rpm on that tach is the best shift point of our cars even though the rev limiter is raised to 7100.

Thanks guys, the car felt great. My outside temp gauge said it was in the low 60's but i think the temp was actually high 50's. Klubbheads: Sharif set my rev limiter to 6800 because he doesn't think its worth shifting any higher than that with the non-revup unless the car has cams.... just like you seem to have found when you went to the track. IP05G35: Trey's best is a 13.62 my best is a 13.63 so he has me by 1 hundredth of a second!
