Thumbs up 1/4 times

i ran a 14.3 at 96mph, with hks hi power, 1/2 spacer, short ram intake heat wraped, and hot lapping the hell out of it at 80degrees, these coupes weight a ton! luxury performance!

I'm trying to remember what I ran there... I thought 14.9 (way before current mods)... but I don’t even remember for sure... That might have been my breakout time for bracket racing - now that I think about it was 15.00 exactly... I was racing with Ted...

Gawd that track was dismal! But good point Vlad… running 14.9 or even 15.0 at that track is not indicative of a cars ability…

Side note – looks like we missed a good event at Fontana Friday…

^HA!

Now you can see that this is proof that its the track and not our cars... Same track, around the same temp and we both run 15's.

My personal best at firebird is 14.8

well I really dont have much to add except, that when you are power braking, try revving to about 1500 or lower. my 60 foot is 2.2, not much faster, but I found that around 2k it spins WAY to much.

just keep launching lower untill your 60 is either at the best it can be on street tires or as good as you want it to be.

hope this helps!
