Gs are not that fast stock, they usually only put down about 220-230 to the wheels. The 14.2 1/4-mile time Infiniti gives is from countless runs with perfect conditions until they get the lowest possible time they can publish. The fact that you couldn't mirror that is not uncommon. Your intake will only give you a few horsepower and that's not going to subtract tenths from your time.
I'm not trying to discourage your modding, just being honest.

60' Is pretty darn good for a first time out on a street tire.
If you can get that down to say 1.9 that would be perfect but will take a lot of practice and almost perfect conditions at your track.
Remember for every 0.1s you save at the 60' mark, that usually translates to 0.2s at the 1/4mile mark.
I say work on your shifting, and shift points to find whats quickest for your car.

Was this your first time racing the car or drag racing?
What rpms were you shifting at?
What gear did you finish in?
A 6MT with a 2.09 60', 60 degree weather, and a decent track would tell me the car should at least be doing 14.4s. My guess is you were shifting too early.

+1 on selling the intake. Leave the intake for those who just want sound.

1. shifting at 6000rpm means ur shifting at about 5800-5900 rpm because tach needle is off about 200-400 rpm depending on gear
2. shifting at 5600-5700 rpm means ur not even close to peak power which comes at 6200rpm
3. U are drag racing, use all the revs u can. There is a redline/revlimiter for a reason.
I just copied my post that was having problems braking into 14s.
BTW forget what every website says

Yea, basically stock N/A car...............rev that sucker.
You basically want to take that thing right up to redline, will make a huge difference.
