I think your confusing line locks and a trans brake. Line locks are brake related and I do have brakes..sometime

I know a trans brake is auto only. Chargers were autos so he won't be mis shifting at all

It's going to come down to whether or not you know how to drive.

If you do know how to properly drive an MT, it's going to be a close race. And you could possibly edge him out. This is assuming both cars are stock.

A G37 or 2007 G35 sedan should be faster than the R/T though.

It's still up in the air as to weather or not he will actually get it. He is a truck guy and if he were to get a car I'd be his baseline to beat...haha. Maybe some of your guys can come up with ideas for him. charger like...muscle car, kinda big...not ford.

I think there is one of those in my town, either that or a badly modded g6. I see it all the time and I don't like it too much. Thansk fro the idea though, I'll let him know.

Ya, tell him to check one out in person. The pictures of them do not do justice. Make sure he looks at the v8 version though, the v6 is weak.

^U better, with the mods u have, because nicely driven BONE stock 6MT is as fast if not faster than that car.

I didn't read the thread, but I got smoked by a manwagon(the Dodge Magnum SRT8)!!! I have a few mods, and he left me like I wasn't even moving

youll destroy the r/t. my boy has a 06 automatic with just intake and exhaust and he smoked an r/t. no worries =)

The SRT 8 will NOT own G35 coupe.

I raced an SRT 8 and I pulled on him with my auto through 1st, by second we were neck and neck but thats because my triptronic was stalling and wouldnt shift into 2nd.. Once we hit third then he started pulling on my pretty good.

an SRT 8 will beat a G but not by much. Its the WEAK 3rd gear our 3.3 auto has that messed it up.
