14.6 stock auto 2003 coupe

Shocked the hell out of me..

I used to have pretty much all full boltons except for a flash/tune and my best was 14.8 ish/14.9ish

Then i went back to stock exhaust and all I had was intake/ ssv plenum/ and 3.9 gears and my best was a 14.5

I went back to the track bone stock and I was running 14.6's and my car smashed on my buddies 05 coupe w/ intake, spacer, megan test pipse and invidia exhaust. I can promise you it wasn't the driver either cause both cars were auto and we did several runs and traded cars.

My run was also on 87 octane... did my car turn into a factory freak?

One big thing was the temperature.. all my previous runs w/ all my mods were in the summer in 90-100 degree weather.... the weather that night was around 52-58ish

Still tho. my 03 auto G was smashing on my buddies 05 w/ all those mods.

weird.

My friend did not have a tune.

87 octane is because I was experimenting with the car.. I filled up on 87 and I didn't lose performance at all and I still got the same mpg.. (350 miles per tank)

So i figured why pay the extra 30-50 cents for no performance or gas mileage increase....

Remember, premium is RECOMMENDED not REQUIRED.

after I was done with that tank of 87 I just stuck to it... I've been pumping 87 for the past month.

Going 91 octane isn't about performance.

87 + WOT... goodluck

And "Premium Only" is stated on my gas cap. Not sure if thats a revup thing or not.

I'm telling you right now to stfu with your rubbish.

87+WOT got me pretty much my best quarter mile time and no reduced mpg. The car just proved this to your face.

the premium only is all BS and is meant for "maximum performance" its on all G35's and its RECOMMENDED, NOT REQUIRED... DO YOU COMPREHEND THAT? DON'T KEEP QUESTIONING ME OVER AND OVER THEN CRITICIZING! UNDERSTAND?

Sounds to me like you only ran this present setup with 87, so how do you know?
