Honestly I don't drag race any more....my car is a dedicated track/autox car now a days. Sucks about the wheels man. As far as what's going on.....look around in the mid-a sub forum....I am sure there is something going on.

This is the car now....undoubtedly slower in a straight line than before:

^he's trying to stay NA so i don't think it'd be worth it to spend an extra 8k on a built setup

^Agreed, not getting much out of these cars without going FI. Eventhough a 13.02 1/4 mile is damn good for N/A.

What did you take out to make it fully gutted?

I ran my car yesterday after my retune fully loaded along with my tools from work adding another 150lbs because I got the itch passing the track on the way home. I still ran granted not 13 but 14.02@101. The car has 117k miles.

Well anyway you should be faster since you live up north now with the colder temps along with being fully gutted and lighter wheels.

How much weight do you think you lost with the wheels and gutting it? I may do it once just to see if there is a difference.

If you didn't live so far I would say come down to Cecil county on saturday for TNT no one is hardly there from 9-4 lots of runs.

Well, that tells me that even for the streets here in South Florida, those wheels are for the track only. As you know I only have OEM wheels on my car and wish I could drive it with the draglites all the time.. I don't think I told you, but I had the front wheels powder coated as well and they match the rear ones very well.. Let me know when you get your new pumpkin installed..

Well the rearend is ready however now the problem is trying to install this for a weather window. Its sad to say this being from miami and all but I actually have to do somewhat of a 5 day forecast to run this rearend. Im just too worried about running this rear with my daughter in the car. If there is even a slight amount of dew on the road the car will start to slip bad and the on/off ramps from here to her daycare are awful. You guys will be the first to know the results of this upgrade. Should be kinda wild. I know alot will wonder on price (it set me back around 2100)pics included for eye candy. Talk soon mike

Very nice.. That looks lighter than OEM, isn't it ???. Mine weights a ton, the welded oem.. I understand and hope you get the weather window you are looking for. I installed mine about a month ago and it is not coming out till after Dec 5. I'm going to the NSCRA finals and after the event and if I have time, I will switch diffs.. As far as the price, the bearings and seals set was almost half the price of the FD, so I know what you mean.. Take care..
