My name is spelled wrong in the list of Forced Induction. It should read Madelinot, not Modelinot (#6). Thanks!

Man get rid of those street tires!! If you can borrow some DRs or slicks.

How much power are putting down? How do you like the TT compared to the vortech? I'm thinking about going FI again soon.

^ would love to switch to DRs, but i'd need to find another set of wheels that will clear my rear BBK. maybe have a set of OEM coupe 19s widened to 10" or somehow find a set of 350z Nismo rears (19x10).

^I spent like $450 on a set of Konig wheels, 18x10. There's very few options when it comes to 19" tires.

Since you 2 are TT autos how do you like it? What are you both putting down and does the trans like it. I'm going built in the next 3 months. I'm debating t trim vortech with nitrous or TT. I can get the vortech cheap.

18s would be ideal, but there are no 18" wheels that will clear my rear calipers
This is one of those times where form > function.

I like it a lot. The GTM trans I have shifts very smooth when in boost, so much so that I don't feel any loss of acceleration (which was unnerving the first few times I drove the car). Its a very weird / different experience versus the transgo on my stock 5AT which seemed to have a very small amount of lag due to the jolt upon shifts.

As for power, 450whp / 420wtq.

At 460whp/wtq, I had minor slippage occurring within 8 months on the stock tranny. Not sure if it was the tranny itself or just the TC. My built tranny has only been in for a year but so far no issues with 491whp/483wtq. And thats with plenty of launches on drag radials.

Nitrous will solve the lack of torque associated with superchargers, and should yield a nice power curve when combined. Plus everything can be installed and accessed easily with a SC. Seems like a good setup for track use.

The thing I hate about TT on this car is there's barely enough room for the plumbing, even after modifying everything else in the engine bay. And if something major does need to be fixed/replaced it will be a PITA to do so.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm going the SC route for sure. I read Jtrain thread and I feel you can't get the most out of being TT with our trans and his was built.

I've been reading what the domestic guys do for more tq on their SC they add a 44mm wastegate. The cars lost a little up top put gained alot more tq down low and hp. The HP peaked and held before redline.

I guess it allows the SC to reach full boost before redline and hold it.
