Again Facts Rule

06 g35 0-60 6.2 sec.Not bad for a luxury car.I don't know how luxurious it can be for 30,000.My Mustang stickered at 34,900.For you math guys .1 sec at 95 mph is 14 feet or about one car lenght. 14.3 vs 13.5 in the 1/4 The MUSTANG WINS BY MORE THAN 10 car lengths. I use to own a 2004 lincoln ls with a v8 ($44,000)awesome ride beuteiful car and pretty quick in it's own right but I would never claim to have beaten a Mustang in it.Facts Rule look at the Data.http://www.dragtimes.com/Infiniti-G3...slip-8069.html http://www.autos.com/autos/car/luxur...se/performance

Dude, you can't just compare ET's. You also have to compare trap speeds. The traps for the two cars are very very close. And you can compare mag times all day long. Those don't make any difference.

I asked the other guy and I'll ask you: have *you* ever taken *your* car to the track? Do you have any idea how fast *you* are in *your* car? Until you do, then you have no real-world experience on which to compare your cars to others.

Apparently you have selective comprehension skills. I have personally beaten a mustang gt at the track. So has my wife. That doesn't mean that we'll beat every mustang gt.

You have to compare Apples to Apples both cars being STOCK and both cars being driven by PRO DRIVERS.There are no comparisons between these 2 STOCK cars.Yes Iv'e been to the track My 06 is running high 12's With SCT tune C&L CAI 4.10 gears and flowmaster exhaust. To be honest with you and this is not intended to be a flame but your average joe with a g35 won't even bring it to a track.(unless he's had some work done to it).You can take pretty much any car in the world throw a bunch of money at it for mods and get some amazing times. But thats not what were talking about. Were talking about a level playing field 1.Stock cars 2.Same track conditions elevation etc 3. Same driver The g35 STOCK will lose everytime.

Example Take a look at your Mods.05 6MT Sedan. k&n, ztube, mrev, crawford cats, stillen gen1 catback
Kazera KZ-A 18x8.5, wrapped in 245/40/18 Kumho ECSTA ASX all seasons; 13.791@102.22 With all those modifications your getting some pretty good times.13.791 but a stock 06 mustang Gt runs at 13.5 with two expierenced drivers like yourself you would lose by almost 3 car lengths even with all your mods.I'm not saying you can't beat a Mustang but if YOU personally drove both cars your going to get better times in the Stang.

My wife's auto sedan(factory rated at 260/260 mind you) beat an 02 5 speed gt with a minimum of exhaust. My wife had a plenum spacer. There's really no use in comparing stock to stock. When I ran my 13.7, I had dyno'd a miraculous 7hp over my first stock dyno. 7HP!!! Do you actually think 7hp is going to really matter much in a race? Mods just don't do much to these cars.

Unfortunately, I don't have video proof to back up my times(though I do have timeslips, and have posted a link). However, another guy(Mario77746) does: he ran a 13.9@100 in his 6mt sedan, with a "no name" intake. Refer to this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/87682-13-99-100-4mph-today.html.

And if you want the video, look here: http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...7445583098.htm

If you pay attention at the end, not only did the g35 beat the gt by roughly 1 full second, he also out trapped him by 4mph. And did you see how all that "torque" of the gt helped the launch???

Dude, I've provided the proof. If choose not to believe it, then I guess you also believe the earth is flat and the moon landing was staged. As for your high 12's. Nice times. There's no way I'm ever going to his high 12s without a *lot* more work.

I *did not* have all those mods when I ran the 13.7. I had highflow cats and a panel filter.

But I agree with you on the 05+ GT. I probably would get better times in the mustang, once I learned how to cope with the torque advantage.

On that note, my best friend's wife just bought an 06 5 speed gt. It's her first manual tranny car as a daily driver, and her first ever rwd car, and by far the most powerful car she's ever driven. She got it specifically to beat her husband(owns a stock srt4). It will be a while before she's comfortable enough to race it, and even longer before she gets any good(I've improved noticebly in the past year myself). But I am anxious to see what times she'll put down.

First off RealGone a 2006 Mustang Gt Conv.Premium can sticker for over 35,000.Mine was a little less because I didn't go with the side impact air bags and shaker 1000 stereo upgrade.I work for Ford and used my A plan Company discount to knock it down by about 4,000 so I didn't pay that.TREY if you spent a year with a stock g35 and a stock Mustang Gt and took them to the track you would probably be a full second faster in the 1/4 mile in the GT.That is all I'm saying is that the Mustang is the faster of the two cars. However your g35 would blow my car away if my wife were driving it.

Stock - Quicker? Yes. A full second? Hardly. I could have run a 14 flat stock, had I been as experienced as I am now. I don't see a stock 05+ GT running a 13 flat. But I could be wrong. Again, look at the trap speeds. A few guys have trapped at 101, stock. What do the 05+ GT's trap, stock? 103 on the low end, maybe 105 on the high?

No it's cool I appreciate the props but I am not done with this guy. I know he is still going to come in here and read this thread even though he can't post. I am sure your slow a$$ 2002 junkstang GT will be up at Tower shops off of 595 and University some Friday. I will have another person with a Camera with me so I will take the extra weight in my car since you are probably a big fat redneck who already weighs you car down enough. My car isn't stock and if your previous Generation mustang isn't even modded then you are a complete joke. We all are arguing with a guy who doesn't even drive a 05+ GT. I will find your stupid a$$.. Don't call out G35's AKA ( S K Y L I N E's ) because you will get hammerd biotch

No offense Trey but I haven't seen any stock times in a g35 run 14 flat.I'm not saying that you couldn't I just can't find anything that suggests different. Here is a link these were the best times I could find for the stock g35 14.73 vs 13.5 Thats even more than a second.Any pics of your car?I'll leave a couple of mine. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp...niti&model=G35 http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/100_0551.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/100_0556.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/100_0555.jpg

AMZNBLUE - Nice ride except for the water spots . I thought the GTs had Red Brembro brakes though?
