Clutch pedal squeaky

I just got my car, 03 coupe with about 45k mi on it... recently i've noticed the clutch pedal is squeaky when i push it up and down... but there's no clutch slippage and it's not hard to shift or anything like that

anyone encountered this problem? is it just as simple as needing to be greased up a lil bit??

hey, i just posted about this recently also. Just started noticing this issue as it became warmer the past few months. Some people suggested some grease, nobody else seemed to have the issue. Will be taking it into the dealer to have it checked out

I also have an 03 coupe, about 45k miles as well. I also have the same problem... probably only requires a little bit of grease, let me know what the dealer says, im going in soon to try and get a few things replaced as well.

This was the first thing that happened before I needed a complete transmission swap. I'm serious. It was performed under warranty, but the 03 cars have had major tranny problems.

I just purchased an 04 G35 coupe and I think I am having the same problem. The last 1" or so of travel pushing the clutch down and releasing it has a squeaking noise. No matter whether I do it slow or fast it's still there. I bought some WD-40 but when I get up under there I can't pinpoint exactly where to apply it? Can anyone let me know where the WD-40 needs to be applied to make this go away? Other than that, I love this car!

so when i had it in at the dealership, i asked them to look at it and lube it to get rid of the squeak. well, they lubed it and the squeak went away... but the tech thought something wasn't quite right, so he inspected it and said the clutch needed to be replaced. so now i have a new clutch, free under warranty.

I have 19k miles on my G right now, and I have this issue 7k miles ago. I just turn the music louder and u won't hear it. LOOL As a temporary solution
And sometimes my clutch paddles stick and I have to pull it out.

Talking

My clutch has a slight squeeking noise pressed about 1/4-1/3 from the floor. IT doesnt' squeek from top all the way until about to the point that I just mentioned. I turned up the music and it seemed to go away....it's all in my head.....I thought..... I didn't think it was a serious problem so i never looked into it.

IT would be nice to know where to apply the WD40. That way, my music doesn't have an added squeeking noise when I press the clutch...hahaha

It's your throw out bearing. I took my 03 w/45,000 miles in last week to the dealer. They lubed up the throw out bearing and now it's fine. Everything was covered under warranty.
