Hi guys,

I looked at the manual and it suggests to shift from first to 2nd at 8 miles/hr, and 2dn to 3rd at like 16 and so on, my speeds are almost double these numbers and when my tacometer reads close to 4000 rpm. Is this bad?

It's not bad, just remember that the higher you go on your tach the more gas you're burning.

i need to fill up tomoro, im gonna drive my whole tank of gas under 3k rpm's! see what my mpg is like!....(cough wonder how long ill last under 3k)

 

Id rather sacrafice MPG over high revs... or else whats the point of owning a G when your not going to enjoy its tune?

 

Good luck, I've tried that before but I love the way my exhaust sounds when it hits 3k and above and it didn't last long

 

Ya I've tried that too. I think I made it to almost 1/4 tank and I couldnt take it anymore, I had to punch it.
