Questions about changing clutch/flywheel or do I have a bad tranny?
I have about 61k on my 04 coupe with oem clutch/flywheel. Two days ago I started my car up in cold weather after a 200 mile trip the previous day and was greeted by rattling noises at idle. When I rev up my car, as the rpm/revs deccelerates the grinding noises increase get louder somewhat. I drove the car a short distance and it shifts and engages fine but the rattling noise (i liken it to clutch chatter times 10) is audible as I drive around. Girlfriend noticed a slight burning smell (probably clutch) as we were coming back home as well. Is it safe to say that I'm in need of a new clutch/flywheel or is this a tranny problem?
I knew i'd need a new clutch at some point (RPS clutch and flywheel on the way - thanks Zentraedi). I was just hoping that it would last a lil while longer. What other items will I need when I replace it? I know I'll need a throw out bearing, pilot bushing, and maybe a clutch slave cylinder? Anything else I will need?

clutch is worn, it will rattle more as the clutch wears closer to nothing...i had the rps setup and ended up changing out their clutch after 30k miles with a 300z tt oem clutch setup...flywheel is perfect still...you won't need a slave cylinder, but while you are in there you might as well change out the clutch line to a ss clutch line to improve pedal feel. also flush and refill the diff with some new diff oil, and do the same to the trans with nissan fluid
