clutch chatter is normal on these cars. If you're unsure though, take it in to the dealer. you should still be under warranty.....

Very normal. Sometimes mine sounds like it is ready to just jump off the car and run away!

it's not dumb or anything. Clutch noise literally kicks my butt man. it's inconsistent too. mine sometimes sounds like a diesel engine, so i press the clutch in so it doesnt embarrass me in front of peeps

Not a dumb question at all. If you don't know what the noise is, chatter can be scary. It is way worse on light weight flywheel cars. Also it will be louder at idle with your A/C on.

Throw-out (a.k.a. - Release) Bearing seems to have a pretty short lifespan. It can really increase the amount of noise.

At 5800 miles, my clutch and flywheel still looked pretty new (as you would imagine), but the T.O. Bearing was already pretty worn and had started making more noise. Mostly city miles... ...but I have heard others complain about the weak OEM TO Bearing and the complete lack of aftermarket alternatives.
