Clutch engage fix: D-wolf clutch kit exposed and

For all of you that may have heard about the "D-wolf clutch kit" for sale on my350z.com., and how it was very hush hush and noone was allowed to post pics. Someone bought the kit and found out how cheesy and simple the item was. The kits were sold for $40 but can be made for literally 50 cents out of nickels! I'm going to be doin the DIY tomorrow and am glad the shadyness of the item is over...

They just made an alternative to the kit. The "D-Wolf" kit really doesn't look like this at all. It was never anything complicated to begin with.

The only thing that worries me is if a "simple" fix can take the abuse of smashing on the clutch like I do on the drag strip.

what got annoying is that they would never post a pic and if you said anything negative those comments were deleted by certain people

is the risk for premature clutch wear still a possibility?

Stupid question here, but what does this kit do? Is this to reduce the clutch travel when you press the clutch pedal in? I don't see anything wrong with the clutch system as off right now.

YUP

The kit was basicly a rubber stopper that limited the clutch travel. When you pushed the clutch all the way down, it will hit the stopper instead of the floor (which also has a stopper).

Superglue some coins together instead like I did. I can garauntee that the coins will not come apart. The weak point is the double sided tape which is utilized in the d-wolf kit as well. Even if it does fall out, then all it does is allows for the freeplay at the bottom of the clutch to return to stock, and you'll just have to push the clutch down further until you reattach the double sided tape

whats funny is that the members that were pushing hard to sell this product have yet to chime in, maybe they have egg on their face and want to distance themselves from the kit and their roles on this forum, guess they earned their freebees

LOL . . . I am the very first of those said people. I found a fix for one of my pet peeves about my car. I shared that info with everyone. Personally, I gave the developer much high praise for remedying my issue . . . And as such, I still stand by my comments.
