Well, I was kind of out of the loop on that one... The turbo guy took the trans to the trans shop and told them to "fix it". So, they did. No extra beef. If they had told me up front what the cost was going to be, I would have bought the SGP trans without thinking twice.

OK, I got the car back and all is well. Stillen called and said that their tech said a solenoid was seized. This sounds kind of funny because the transmission shop specifically tested that. In fact, they tested the solenoids with the tech on the phone with Stillen. My trans shop moved the solenoids around to see if the problem moved to another gear. It didn't. So, the Stillen tech and my trans shop tech are going to duke it out and I will have to wait to see what happens...
