Popping sound coming from rear????? Help

Have any of you all after lowering your vehicle hear a popping sound coming from the right rear of the car...My Right Rear Axle Shaft ever since I lowered it has a pop/squeak sound coming from it sometime when I turn and almost always when I hit an uneven spot in the road.....I don't know how to fix this but when underneath the car the right axle shaft has play in it..I can move it back and forth. With that being said should I take it into the dealer and have it checked out? Im hoping if there is a problem it will be covered under warranty but not to sure after all the mods I have put on if they will. I was thinking of taking it to Grubbs Infiniti here in Texas who is mod friendly....what do you think?

Please let me know...

How long ago did you have the car lowered? If recent, get to the place that did the work. Even if it's been a while, go back there. The dealer will likely not cover it as you've changed things to likely cause the problem.

I had them installed around the first of June....but i have been back to the place at least 5-6 times now to be checked out and we still cannot fix the problem. I still have paly in the rear axle shaft. When i got my alignment done 2 weeks ago the sound didnt go away but wasnt as noticeable until you hit a really hard uneven surface. But its still the point that its there.....the drivers side doesnt do anything....I am wondering if its an axle bolt that has come loose....or a snap clip on the axle has popped off.

Well, the thing you have on your side, is the TSB for the axle clicking. Go into the dealer with that complaint...

It'sa TSB - Tech Service Bulletin. It's a warranted item. You can look them all up at infinitihelp.com

They can use anything against you...they don't HAVE to do anything.
