I doubt anyone can abuse a clutch more than I have. And even with all that abuse, my clutch still made it to 50k, and it still had a good amount of life left.

I had the creaking noise in mine at 28k miles or so and the dealer told me to replace the clutch, i tolc them to go Fvck themselves. I found that if you take the slave cyl off and pull the rubber boot that holds the pivot fork out. Clean and lube the pivot fork area then the creaking is gone.

On that note, I still have the stock clutch, 63k miles with 5k miles on the vortech at 350-400whp with no slipping still, so dont fall for those dealer tricks

Interesting and very helpful. Thanks! Stupid question of the day: Where is the slave cylinder located?

Yup what blackbird said, plus lube that spring up top of the clutch pedal assembly. Thats where I found my squeaking from. A slipping clutch does not sound like a cat being stomped on.
