OH man, I hope mine isn't damaged....but I guess only time will tell. I removed it a while ago and no problems I don't think (knock on wood) =/

Hmm actually my project mu **** IS rattling. Two of the four hex screws on the top of the **** don't actually have any function after disassembling the ****. Used some glue in some contact areas to soften the rattle, it worked but hasn not completely eliminated it.
