Tranny and rear diff fluid

I need to have my transmission fluid flushed and changed and my rear differential fluid changed. What fluids should i use for the tranny and rear differential?

yeah i need to do mine soon too....im at 30k right now and really dont want to bring to the stealership

yea i just hit 30k. Do you know what fluids to use? Im having a friend of mine change everything so i need to buy the oil.

i used mobil 1 75w90 for the diff. i have not done my auto trans yet but i will only use something that is a j matic equivalent. last i checked there were a few companies that meet or exceeded the oem trans oil standards.

The only company that I've ever seen that even advertises (albeit in a WAY hidden way) is Redline D4, here.

But you have to look carefully in the "product data" application guide to see the actual claim. click here

Again, nissan is very very picky with the matic J in the auto-trans, so be cautious with what you do!

I've replaced my rear diff oil 3 times now, twice with Mobil1 75w-90 and the last time with Redline 75w-90. The only reason for the switch was because I got a free hand pump with the Redline that made it way easier to get the oil in the diff. Best of luck to ya!
