5AT gear ratio options?

The fuel consumption will increase at roughly the rpm increase rate since at cruise the A/F is fixed so more revs per minute more fuel used per minute.
Obviously idle consumption won't change so it is never 100% purely linear but close.
I would expect a 4.083 to be ~~18-23% worse than stock on AT.
We've had a few 4.083 sub for 3.538 on early Q and the 15.8% tracks perfectly as to highway mpg within a few %.

I have 3.692 (3.7) FD - yesterday I re-tested the CC... works as normal at any speed... I even set it at 50mph then accelerated with it to 90mph and it stayed... I'm not sure why the people DaveB mentioned had problems, but mine works exactly as it did with OEM 3.3 FD.
The question is how will the 15%-20% increase in highway fuel consumption say $450-$800 per year relate vs the few tenths gain in acceleration.
Will you be able to honestly sell [disclose your mods] the used car with dif gear or be forced to return to stock ratio [cost to change].
In theory you are commiting emission fraud because the engine produces more emissions per mile due to burning more gasoline per mile......whether a court would see it that way is up to the judge?
