Don't jump the gun and get a new clutch. Check out my thread https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetrain/225687-clutch-warranty-question.html

How did it go at the dealership?

I just dropped my car off at the dealership and they told me that usually the clutch isn't covered.... so after the technician does his diagnosis, they'll make a decision on whether this problem can be fixed under warranty.

Hopefully they replace the master cylinder and that fixes the problem.

Update
Well the dealer replaced my pressure plate under warranty and said that's the part i needed to replace. I also had them check my master cylinder and they said it's fine.... So right now i'm scared to pump my clutch 30 times to see if i can re-create the problem. I'll let it happen naturally lol.

well this happened to me as well, I was too hard on the clutch, revved it near 3000 rpms and dumped the clutch, I hardly think 3krpms is too high... but i'm not going to do something about it unless it happens again...

I had the same problem and the dealer changed the fluid in the clutch master cylinder and slave then bled the system, no more problems.

+1 on the master cylinder. Same thing happened to me 4 days before I had to ship my car out and the dealership took it in and got it done fast. I don't know what the warranty period is on that but when i brought in my 06 coupe the mileage was at 16k

lightweight pulleys, headers/cats, manifold spacer those are the main mods...the other stuff is just small things... You think they will blame it on that? Maybe I should go to Riverside infiniti since I heard good things about them
