Better shifts in 06c MT ??

Just wanted to know if the MT has been improved on the 06Gc . Heard alot of complaints of grinding gears on previous models.

The rogue engineering short shifter is supposed to smooth out shifts quite a bit

early model 03's had problems grinding due to synchro design, it has since been worked out.

I have an 06 6MT Coupe and I'm getting my 3rd tranny (second replacement within 10k of each other) replaced under warranty (as we speak), due to grinding when shifting directly from 4 to 6...this has nothing to do with "bad driving" just a bit of technical ignorance on our part.

here's a link to a previous thread that may help you out a bit, you can also refer to your manual or ask mike@riverside.

https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...th-gear-2.html

simply put...dont skip gears, our trannies arent made for it.

I had the same problem with grinding from 6th to 4th and they replaced my tranny due to damaged synchros.
