Question So are there no aftermarket clutch without chatter?

hi, i am going to be changing my clutch and maybe flywheel as well.
i am looking for after market clutch and flywheel since they are cheaper then the OEM parts.
i rather have no chatters or quite chatter then having great performance.
do you guys know or installed an aftermarket clutch which is close to OEM clutch?
please let me know the brand and your experience with it
thank you...

I don't think the clutch is the problem... a lightweight flywheel would be my biggest concern for chatter.

so the clutch doesn't make the chatter?
is it just the flywheel?
then are there any aftermarket flywheels with no chatter?

and can i install any aftermarket clutch with OEM flywheel if i can get that resurfaced?
is it a good idea?
bytheway i have 73000km on the car

It is both the clutch AND flywheel that contribute to noise. They do, however, add different noises.

You can not resurface the OEM flywheels on the G's

It is not hardened all the way through which will not allow it to be resurfaced..

I have the JWT setup on my 04 coupe.. There is for sure chatter but you get used to it..

Resurface at your own risk; it will wear out VERY quickly.

That depends completely on how you drive.

A BRAND NEW one may be 'resurfaceable', but the official recommendation, as I understand it, is that it should always be replaced, not resurfaced.

Why do you think so many people on the forums get the flywheel with the clutch, if the clutch is all they needed?

i recently had a Competition clutch & flywheel installed at Forged Performance, and I must say it does the job much better than the oem but if the rpms drop below 2k i feel like killing myself...makes it real difficult when slowi9ng down for a turn and downshifting, i have to drop it 1 gear lower than the oem setup to save my ears

i heard you can get the nismo flywheel and clutch which is closest to oem you're going to get without as much chatter as other performance clutches out there. but from what i see as far as price it's close to oem pricing...$800 for clutch and flywheel is about what you're looking to pay i think.

What do you guys mean when you say "chatter"? You mean like it feels and sounds like your sort of ridding the clutch to a degree?

Think taking a piece of paper, and sticking it in a fan at the edge. That's what it sounds like (but not as loud or fast)
