Aggressive shift mod for 5AT sport

I was wondering what mod if any exists for a more aggressive shift with an auto tranny with the sport shifter. Ive noticed that when the car is at full throttle and im shifting through the gears I have to shift a little early because there is a slight pause in between the gears changing and I cant take it near redline like I would in an MT. If I time it just right the car doesnt fall on its face as much, but it seems to do it more than not.

any mods out there or recomended fixes?

grounding wires are supposed to help but thats debated. a valve body upgrade will give you quick, firmer shifts though.

As mentioned, VB would definetely reduce shift time as well as heat from slower shifts. Using the autoenginuity software, I noticed the line pressure of the transmission is higher in full auto mode as opposed to manual mode, which would result in firmer shifts.

+1 and get either the GTM or SGP valvebody or get thr transgo kit and have a trans shop install it.I have an older ForgedPerformance v/b and it shifts hard enough to snap your neck back.

The grounding gear 10 wire kit helped with the shifts, but nowhere near what a vb upgrade will do
