2003 Sedan 5AT looking to doa 6sp Swap

Hey guys just a question, is this job hard to do and will I need a lot of parts to do it? I heard all I would have to really change is the ECU. Would the ECU need to be reprogrammed?

I have a 99 Maxima is it was pretty easy to do a 5sp swap from the automatic, just wondering if the G35 sedan auto to manual swaps are as easy. I'm looking to buy a used 6sp tranny with decent miles.

Did anybody do a swap with their G and if so how is it holding up? Thanks.

Will cost you at least $8,000. It's only been done twice from what I know, and costs around that much. You will need the tranny, I think you need a new crankshaft (someone did it recently and said that they needed one), a new 6MT ECU, pedals, and everything else. Unless you are extremely mechanically inclined and know what you're doing and can do everything yourself, it will cost $8-10k. Not worth it IMO because I've thought about it as well.

If I owned a 5at I would sell it and buy a 6mt before I undertook that project.

G35 RWD AUTO
Where I can see a list of what is needed to do this kind of swap?
In my case, I could buy a 2006 350Z engine "with manual tranny flywheel", for around $750. I just want to know the exact things to do in order to put it into my 2003 G35 automatic (4dr) sedan.
Is there any weblink to get this info?
