Rookie- I am so sad I didn't wait a couple hours everyone discouraged me from even thinking about it and I just blew a couple bills on new rotors. I would have bought that trans in a second its local and cheap. Very disappointing Thanks though for posting that !

Cancel the rotors. 6MT is fun.

yeah I know i know! Such a bad position.. I have warped the rotors so bad it squeaks no matter what and I really need to get these things done. In the future I am sure I will see some more MT's around. Thanks again though!

All good.

The conversion can be done without changing the cluster. If the trans harness is set into bypass mode there won't be a trans light, but since that guy has all of that stuff in one package it's a killer deal.

So to Convert a 5at to a 6mt... its just harnesses tranny pedals consol hand brake and cluster? for a coupe that is...

i might want to do this.. guy is selling it all for 2k.. my mechanic might charge me 1k or less to do the install..

but would i need to find the CEnter consul? as well?

my buddy has a 06 6mt coupe.. he umm... wants to.. chop it and report it and be done with it.. being he ows some change on it..

would it be wise to just get everything off him considering we have the same color interiors?.. and he has navi.. im a 05 5at..

sorry to the OP.. dont meant to steal his thread...

And I've done 1 lol. I'm in the process of doing another one. Parts are getting cheaper and people are less scared to mess with these cars.
