Hello, I have an 04 sedan. Using manuatic, I get a louder thump in the rear end area when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. 1st to 2nd=smooth and 3rd to 4th+5th smooth, no thump. I get the thump into third gear between 4000rpm and up "when I get on the car only" Is this normal or am I knit picking the car? thanks for any info.

 

my coupe does the same thing I think its before sometime you may shift to early example you shift at 4000 put computer want to rev engine out more

thanks 4 your response, the thump shifting into third, will also do it at high rpm's...6000/6800RPM does yours?
