Mine did that to..when I tried to engage it at high rpms, this seems to be a pretty common problem..the dealer warrantied the flywheel, so I just bought aftermarket parts had them put them in and it hasn't done it since. I can dump the clutch all day long.

Awesome! My clutch got stuck today too. It was about 94 degrees outside and I was in city traffic. I had to constantly lift the clutch all the way up with my foot after every shift. I went to test the car again at night, 79 degrees outside this time, and the clutch was working like normal. It sounds very likely that a new stainless steel braded clutch line and DOT 4 fluid should do the trick. Thank you everybody's contribution to this thread and I will update on the situation.

Did you do the suck out the fluid and put fresh fluid then pump pump? Or did you bleed them.

I have actually started to see this happen with my car too. I have bled the system and the issue has returned. I have a master on the way as we speak and a stainless clutch line in route too. The funny thing is that I am already RBF-600 fluid, which I have used for years in my track cars without issue. In fact after changing to the RBF the fluid has been clean and clear which means that it isn't boiling. That being said I will be changeing out parts soon and will let you know what I find. Thanks,

Really really glad I found this thread. I've been noticing the same issue (inconsistently of course) for about a month and was worried that I'd have to replace the clutch. Will be ordering up a the better clutch line and give this a shot first. Thanks for all the info you've all put into this

What stainless steel line does everyone recommend? I see the NISMO one on g35parts for like a hundred bucks, any other options out there?

I ordered my line from Agency Power. I also got brake lines from them too. I will post up some pics and reviews as soon as I have some time to take my car down.

Yup, thats the same problem im having. Its off and on on my car. I dont know if the temp or hard driving has something to do with it but it could be. It happens when I shift to 1rst and 2nd, the other gears it comes back up. When this happens I just pop it back up with my foot.

Whats the fix for this? Whats the cause?

I have the same issues.

It's not something that happens on a consistent basis, but I notice it usually occurs during hot days on stop-&-go traffic.

When releasing the clutch pedal, it would come up to about 80% (above the engagement point), then get stuck. It usually releases about a second or so after, but it's not a pleasant feeling.

This is exactly it, but it only happens to me during specific events (as explained in my previous post).
